So it seems we'll have a decent amount of entries for our first conest. There's still a lot of time so go and create! We decided the deadline will be on August 20, 2006. And remember you can use any media to create the picture. Pencils, paint, computer, have fun with it!!


Hello Deviant Art community!

I decided to start this club for all of DA's bookworms. This is a club for people who read books and them must draw pictures from them. If this sounds like you, than this is your club.

We will also like for all our members now to send us a note with a short bio. Name, age, hobbies etc. Just to make a nice profle for our whole members list.

We will soon be getting a subscription from *geek-stink-breath

We should also be getting a deviantID shortly.

First Contest

So exciting! The topic of our first contest is...illustrate an animal from any fiction story. It can be the way you saw the animal in your mind. A deadline has not yet been decided. To enter submission please send us a note with the following: the title, the animal and from what book along with the author's name, and the thumb number or just a link.

The judges will be ~Yaanon and ~catzeyes. ~drowning-slowly too if she wants. Also there will be a voting system but we'll discuss that as soon as we have entries.

All entries will be submitted to the club and we will feature the winning entry as our featured deviation for a month. Remember this club is for fun and sharing our peices, so make sure to have as much fun as you can with it!!
